Our Story
Justin and Courtney Gross bought the Big River Grill in 2015, when the previous owner decided that it was time to step down after 23 years. Justin started out as dishwasher in 2006 and continued to move up in the kitchen where he became the kitchen manager. The previous owner knew that he wanted to sell to someone who would keep the foundations that the Big River Grill was built upon and knew that Justin was the best person to continue the legacy.
Over the last five years, Justin, Courtney, and the rest of the staff have faced many challenges together, some which have included severe ice storms, the Eagle Creek Fire, and now the uncertainty of covid-19. The staff has really supported each other to make sure that everyone is taking the correct measures to stay safe.
While we are known for our traditional American style food the kitchen staff at Big River Grill are constantly creating new, exciting specials that feature different styles of cuisine. We strive to make sure that all of our guests leave satisfied and happy.

We created the Big River Grill/Jesse Gross Memorial Scholarship which allows Stevenson High School graduates to further their education.
